Frequently Asked
Questions

Services & Scope

We provide tax preparation, tax planning, accounting and bookkeeping, and fractional CFO services for individuals and owner-operated businesses.

No. We focus exclusively on tax compliance, planning, and advisory work. We do not provide audit, review, compilation, or attestation services of any kind.

We can provide general analysis related to entity selection from a tax perspective, but we do not provide legal advice or prepare formation documents. Entity formation requires an attorney.

We currently support QuickBooks Online and Zoho Books. Other platforms may be considered case-by-case.

Pricing & Fees

Most engagements are priced as flat fees or structured retainers based on complexity — not refund amounts or hours logged. You will know the cost before work begins.

Generally no. We prefer flat-fee and fixed-scope pricing. If a project requires hourly billing, we will discuss that clearly upfront.

Yes. If we determine there’s a good fit after your survey, we’ll provide a clear engagement letter with pricing before any work begins.

We will discuss pricing adjustments before proceeding. We never surprise clients with unexpected invoices.

Process & Working Together

It starts with the Client Fit Survey. If it looks like a good match, we’ll connect to discuss your needs. If we proceed, you’ll receive an engagement letter, portal access, and a document checklist.

Yes. We are fully virtual and can work with clients in any state for federal returns. State-specific considerations are discussed during onboarding.

All documents are exchanged through our secure client portal. We do not accept tax documents by email.

Timing depends on when you submit documents and our current workload. We communicate estimated turnaround times during onboarding.
